PAS 2026 Best Student Paper Award
Population Association of Singapore invites students to participate in the PAS 2026 Best Student Paper Award for the most outstanding student-authored paper submitted for the PAS 2026 Annual Conference.
The winner will receive a $250 cash prize, free attendance at the PAS 2026 Annual Conference, and a timing slot to present their paper at the conference, and be formally recognized for their achievement.

Student authors who wish to be considered for this award must follow all requirements listed for the PAS 2026 Conference abstract submission. Details can be found: https://www.sgpopulation.org/abstract-submission-2026
Student authors who wish to be considered for this award must submit their full papers by April 15, 2026.
Student authors who wish to be considered for this award must indicate their interest during conference abstract submission.
Eligibility Requirements:
Nominees must be a registered student (full-time or part-time), at the point of submission.
Papers must be primarily authored by the student. If the manuscript is co-authored with a faculty member, a letter from the other author is required to verify that the student applicant had the primary responsibility for the work.
Papers authored by Ph.D., Master’s and Undergraduate students are welcome.
Papers should not have been published or accepted for publication at the point of submission. Papers under review or submitted for publication are allowed.
Full Papers submitted should not exceed 8,000 words of text (excluding references, tables, etc.).
Papers and any letters should be uploaded in PDF format.
